She easily traverses genres from folk and bluegrass through to jazz and blues with gentle expertise and plenty of good humoured banter to accompany the journey.
2.50pm — Pete FIDLER A decade after ditching his electric guitar for a dobro, Pete has become a familiar and respected sidekick and session player for numerous bands, instrumentalists and singer/songwriters. Pete specialises in Bluegrass music, currently holding down the dobro/mandolin chair in Bluestone Junction, and has toured the USA twice with singer Bill Jackson, as well as appearing at major festivals with fingerstyle guitar picker Nick Charles.

4.15pm –- Suzette HERFT is a contemporary troubadour and songwriter whose roots are in the American Folk tradition. She has often been described as the “Australian Joan Baez”, with her dark features and her rich, honeyed, soulful voice. This artist will impress you with her blend of country and folk soul with contemporary, original and traditional ballads.
4.30pm — Dennis O’KEEFFE His craft of story-telling has evolved through continuous performances of our wonderful Australian traditional songs and his uncanny ability to compose unique songs pertaining to the tradition. Dennis is now a permanent fixture leading Australian Traditional Song Sessions at the Australian National Folk Music Festival in the nation's capital of Canberra every year.
4.45pm — Skip SAIL bases his repertoire on the tradition-al blues songs of Charlie Patton, Robert Johnson and Booker White and Mississippi Fred McDowell. Skip takes people back to the early ‘20 & ‘30’s when acoustic guitar reigned and the world was a very different place. Skip is now becoming the true all –round Roots musician and performs at Blues and Folk festivals around Australia.

Spanish Dance Workshop plus Show SATURDAY 31ST JULY Juan Martinez Ortega Born in Madrid, Juan is one of Australia’s finest Flamenco guitarists. Juan was taught to play guitar by his father at the age of six, shortly after he migrated to Australia in 1969. At thirteen he was introduced to the discipline of Flamenco by a friend of the family who in his youth studied with the legend Nino Ricardo, quickly realizing that flamenco was not just music but his new way of life. In Australia Juan has had much acclaim for his accomplished musical skills and superb technical ability, his music style is explosive and his charisma is contagious. Juan has recorded for the Nine Television Network performing at major music festivals and recording his works on many interesting projects. His music has taken him to the Australian Aria awards, Japan, India, World music festivals and many more wonderful adventures.
Paul Martin Paul has performed with Opera Australia in their 2008 season of Carmen at The Melbourne State Theatre, 12 years of theatre with Southern Flamenco Centre honing in on his skills as a teacher, stage manager and assistant Director. He has performed with numerous Guitarists and Dancers all over Australia including Juan Martinez Ortega, Los Flamencos, Orlando from the Gypsy Crims, and Fiebre Flamenco as a dancer/percussionist. Paul started his music career with the Debany Park High School at the age of Eleven on percussion, his rhythms whether it be playing drums or dancing are dazzling, Two studies in Seville Spain 2002 and 2004 learning from teachers from the Christina Hoyos Dance Company and Mathilda Coral school of Dance. Workshops with visiting international stars including Belen Fernandez, Ana Romero, Fernando Solano, Antonio Vargas( Strictly Ball room- Mission impossible 2) where he learned to be an amazing Dancer. Ten years of dance classes with many teachers (local, interstate and international) has made Paul an accomplished Musician and Dancer who enjoys performance at its best.
Belinda Martin Belinda was born on the beautiful island of Mauritius with a strong African and Latin influences. Mauritians have a natural sense of rhythm and Belinda is no exception. Learning dance since the age of twelve in all different genres throughout the years, Jazz , Ballet, Modern, Latin, Tango, Sega, Moorish and Moroccan including belly dancing as well as Flamenco with many accomplished teachers and working with amazing talented musicians all over Australia and over the world. Her natural enthusiasm, energy and down to earth dancing are contagious and all who watch her Dances are swallowed up by her charms. She is a great performer and beautiful entertainer.
Flamenco Dance is the world’s most fiery and passionate dance style created through the gypsies of Spain with influences from Africa, Southern Europe and Asia. This husband and wife team performs for you with years of Dance experience, performing in Theatres, Clubs, Bars, Festivals, Weddings, Corporate functions, wineries, parties. Working with the colour wheel and a range of techniques, we will use both water colours as well as acrylic paints. Come and join us for a couple of fun and expressive days, - relax and come alive.
